To continue the food theme - there are quite a few pleasant surprises to be had if you root around in the supermercados.  These are delicious aniseed flavoured cracker biscuits.









In Olvera we have at least two splendid cake shops - one within 50 yards of my door! I am not sure whether this is a blessing or a curse.
